I think 2001 was its best chance to win simply because it was new, a fresh type of show that was pretty innovative and wouldn't be up against such a tough field as seen with the nominees for '01Reviewer to be namedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01085267678750713445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-358478401320065911.post-66783198849992712402009-05-17T16:04:00.000-07:002009-05-17T16:04:00.000-07:00It was ok in its early seasons, but it devolved in...It was ok in its early seasons, but it devolved into a half hour of the cast yelling at each other every week. Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle were always very good though. That's a bit off topic though. In a just world, I think Scrubs would have won for its first three seasons. Or at least seasons two and three. Scrubs Season 1 was awesome, and while I've been getting into Frasier again lately (going to give it an actual try) there is no way that it was better than Scrubs season 1. I'll just say that scrubs was great for five years, awful for two, then mediocre for one. And it ended in Season Eight. Regardless of what reality says. It ended. How did you feel about the show's Emmy record? Tell me you didn't need to see our man John C. It was everything good about Scrubs. Glad to hear you won't go back to the show, but what if I told you Braff signed on for six episodes? I'm still done (and angry) with the show. It was enjoyable, the finale was excellent, but why bring braff back again (or the show!)<br />-SamReviewer to be namedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01085267678750713445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-358478401320065911.post-58153421371596426882009-05-17T15:29:00.000-07:002009-05-17T15:29:00.000-07:00Sam,

I have already decided (contrary to my usual behavior) that I will pretend Scrubs ended last wednesday. I will ignore any subsequent season, and will forever refer to "My Finale" as the finale of the show. It tied everything up, and without J.D. (and unless things have changed, Judy Reyes' Carla)there's really no point to continue. So that ties that up to me. As for you, let's allow a little nostalgia into our discussion. What were some favorites? Personally, I autmoatically name "My Old Lady" (with the wonderful Kathryn Joosten), "My Bed Banter and Beyond" (the original J.D./Elliot together episode, before it got tired and overdone), and "My Last Chance" (J.D. tries to have sex with Heather Graham's Molly Clock. Zaniness, hilarity, and classic moments ensue. "So's your face!" anyone?). Odd that two thirds of my go to favorite episodes are from Season one? What about you?-JordanReviewer to be namedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01085267678750713445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-358478401320065911.post-28721079736846176282009-05-17T15:24:00.000-07:002009-05-17T15:24:00.000-07:00I can't believe i forgot to mention the Dr Cox and...I can't believe i forgot to mention the Dr Cox and JD bit in the finale, but as i'm sure you can tell my thoughts were elsewhere with this post. I'm wondering how you feel about the shows future. I know you will still watch but it just feels so dirty to watch this show, it has the same name but its a different show.
